Urban E Watch
Information available via Police Intel is sent out to subscribers and contains details relating to:
- Burglaries, Thefts, Theft ex Car, Graffiti and Vandalism,
- Hot items taken - stolen and found property,
- The dates and possible times of the occurance
- Information regarding arrests relating to this tyle of criminal activity
- List of currents scam
- Other relevant community information
Some of this information will be portrayed on the new New Plymouth police web site along with a more comprehensive list of the stolen property

The flow of information is a vital factor in assisting the community and police in their ongoing efforts to reduce crime.
Neighbourhood Support is one of the strongest organizations in the advocacy of community support in crime prevention and by joining our mailing list and being actively involved you will become better informed and aware of situation around you and your family.
Rural E Watch
Rural E watch reaches out to spread information to the farms and people living in rural areas
Rural E watch forwards to these areas the same type of information available to urban subscribers but providing details specific to what has been happening in the Rural regions
These regions are often the last to be informed of activities and trends in their location and Rural E Watch is a way to get the information out to them at the earliest opportunity
To date we have had a large amount of information being shared within that community
Business Tree
If you own or manage a business in the North Taranaki region we want to hear from you.
Neighbourhood Support Business Tree provides an avenue for the New Plymouth Police to broadcast special alerts and provide information targeted to help you and your business become less vulnerable to the following:
- Credit Card Fraud
- Stolen / Fraudulent cheques
- Persons of interest
- Stolen foreign curency
- Criminal activity or trends targeting certain busines interests
- Active offenders
